An opulent, oaky, buttery and toasty styled Chardonnay created with 100% oak barrel fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation and oak aged in a mix of French and American oak.

Specially selected from two estate-owned Hawke's Bay vineyards, this unoaked Chardonnay offers a creamy palate with melon and peach flavours, without the intrusion of oak. It has a clean, dry finish.

Aromas of lemon curd and stone fruits with apple and cashew. A rich and driving entry with lemon and peach on display early joined by notes of sweet pastry, white stone fruits and grapefruit. Bright focus, lovely poise and very lingering finish.

Babydoll's BABYDOLL sheep live beneath the vines, nibbling on grass and weeds and giving their name to these delicious wines. Small but mighty, they're wonderful groundskeepers. Yes, they need a little help to keep the mowing going. But it's all for the good of the grapes.

Bay and Barnes leaned on our cousins across the ditch for the grapes to make this classic Australian Chardonnay. Following harvest, fruit was gently pressed before settling. Specially selected yeasts were used to start fermentation. From there the wine was delicately matured on oak and lees stirred to impart lovely toasty flavours and a creamy texture.

The Judge & Jury chardonnay is grown on Chard Farm's The Tiger and Viper Vineyards in the Lowburn and Parkburn regions of the Cromwell basin. A steep slope overlooking the Tiger vineyard in Lowburn produces the same aromatically spicy and floral profiles that we find in the Pinot Noir grown there, as well as similar persistence and very long lived flavours. While the Viper Vineyard in Parkburn grows intensely lemony and creates a weighty Chardonnay, the palate length showcases the rich mineral acid and saline notes typical of this vineyard. An intense bouquet of green apple and ripe citrus is first up before more complex notes of white flowers, creaminess and wet stone are released. There is good intensity on the palate with rich citrus and apple fruits. Beautifully balanced and seamless the wine is extremely drinkable, with lingering citrus and nutty notes with a light salinity bringing some extra focus and purity.

Flavors of Asian pear, golden plum and honeydew. With abundant fruit aromas, this creamy and smooth table white wine has a lush, long finish that goes well on its own or with food.

This is a multidimensional Chardonnay with a core of ripe stone fruit and fragrant citrus and citrus blossom, overlaid with subtle aromas of roasted nuts, mealiness and a note of smoky gunflint. The palate is powerful, yet taught and fresh with a fine, slate like texture, great length and balanced fresh acidity. While approachable now, this wine will age positively for 15 plus years if cellared well.

Church Road Chardonnay boasts of ripe stone fruits, balanced with subtle acid. Hints of oak gives this bold number toasty buttered popcorn and soft caramel aroma while equally expressing ripe fruits nectarine and persimmon. A balanced wine for those new to Chardonnay and those with experience!

A fuller bodied and and creamy textured Chardonnay balanced by gentle, fresh acidity. Ripe stonefruit, fresh citrus and subtle floral notes are overlaid with complexities of roasted nuts, fresh baked bread, and a flinty minerality. Already drinking exceptionally well, with careful cellaring we expect this wine to continue to mature gracefully for 5 years or more from vintage date. Ideally matched to seafood, poultry and lighter game dishes, particularly with an element of creaminess

Aromas of fresh golden peach and vanilla, whipped cream, hazel nut and fine toasty wood scents. Youthful, familiar and inviting. A raw silk texture touches the palate first accentuated by acidity and oak then a wave of fresh fruit arrives for contrast and balance. Weighty, fresh, nutty, fruity and youthful.

An elegant expression - fragrant and fruit forward, complemented by gunflint, hazelnut and nougat.
