This blend of predominantly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon has fragrant aromas and flavours of cassis, red fruits and dried herbs. A rich mouthfeel is balanced with supple tannins leading to a deliciously smooth finish.

This wine expresses aromas of ripe cherry and raspberry, intermingled with subtle spiced notes of cinnamon and cloves. On the palate, flavours of cranberry and juicy pomegranate with hints of freshly roasted coffee beans flow to a finish of soft cocoa like-tannins.

Private Bin Syrah is grown on warm Hawkes Bay plains between flowing rivers, then bottled at their winery in the crater of a volcano. Enjoy its smooth velvet texture with rich flavours of dark berries and a touch of spice.

This densely coloured wine shows lovely aromatics with layers of red and black plum, mingling with cassis, smoky roast coffee bean, dried thyme and complex cedary spice nuances. The palate is soft yet concentrated, with wonderfully fine-grained tannins and integrated oak. While approachable in its youth, this wine will benefit and gain additional complexity from careful cellaring over the next 10-15 years.

This stunning Syrah is a blend of parcels from our premium vineyards in Hawkes Bay's Gimblett Gravels. 2016 delivered wonderfully fragrant and intense Syrah wines. Dense purple hues lead to a perfumed nose of boysenberry, spice and violets. Ripe tannins encase concentrated fruit characters on a long and silky palate. Careful cellaring of up to 10+ years will reward with further complexity.

Ever since the first release from the 1972 vintage, Church Block blends have been synonymous with great McLaren Vale red wine. Early wines were sourced from a neighbouring vineyard which ran adjacent to a small Bethany Church. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot grown in McLaren Vale; Church Block has a succulent core of ripe cassis and black fruits which fills the mouth and are balanced with subtle spicy oak characters and velvety tannins. This wine has a wonderful balance of intense rich fruit, fine tannins and refreshing acid structure.

Woodhenge is a monument to 'big' ideas and to Greg Trott's unique vision of what makes Wirra Wirra special and well, a bloody big fence that weighs about 10 tonnes. This wine is a tribute to the region, the grape variety and the foresight of a wine man that, like Woodhenge, typifies the individuality of McLaren Vale.
