Crafted in Sicily, Cantine Mineo Cremovo Marsala is a rich, velvety fortified wine that showcases one of Italy's most distinctive traditions. All Carrick Rieslings are hand harvested, and picked early to preserve the powerful floral aromatics and bright citrus acidity which are characteristic of Central Otago. The wine has been whole bunch pressed and fermented with wild yeast. The gentle handling of this wine means that it has been bottled without fining. Packed with sweet orange blossoms stone fruits and honeyed aromatics with a salty minerality adding complexity. The palate is elegant with a correct presence of tannins and the barrel notes are well integrated.

The first layer of aromas is highlighted with black forest fruits, predominantly blackberries and wild berries. Soon after the toasted notes of the barreling reveal a greater complexity, complemented with spiced notes, principally of pepper. On the palate, the tannins are firm from the outset and the fruit is mature.
