A Penfolds original that has never followed the crowd, St Henri has remained true to its distinctive style since its first commercial vintage in 1957. Unlike most great Australian reds, it relies on no new oak, instead maturing in large, seasoned vats that give the Shiraz time to develop without masking its character. The 2019 vintage is unmistakably St Henri, revealing generous blackberry and mulberry fruit alongside pomegranate, cranberry and subtle hints of liquorice, dried mint and paprika. Savoury notes of bresaola, prosciutto and herbs add an intriguing depth, while a fine graphite core gives the wine structure. The palate is generous and textural, combining dark fruit with rich, savoury flavours and a touch of sweet custard pastry. Mouth-watering acidity brings balance, while exceptionally fine cocoa-toned tannins provide a long, silky finish. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.

Vibrant and expressive, the Pepperjack Central Otago Pinot Noir pours a brilliant scarlet with a subtle violet hue. Enticing aromas of juicy plum, dark cherry, and mocha are lifted by a hint of wild thyme, setting the stage for a richly layered palate. Bursting with dark cherry and luscious cassis, this Pinot is balanced by silky tannins and a supple mouthfeel. Pepperjack Mid strikes a balance between the art of traditional winemaking that Pepperjack is renowned for, and the science of cutting-edge de-alcoholisation and flavour retention technology. Still bursting with quintessential Pepperjack character, this mid-strength wine displays aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of pepper and spice.
